The Community Relations Bureau was formed with the following charter. The establishment of a Community Relations Bureau within the Region will be organized with the co-operation of the Fire Officials of each municipality. The purpose of the Community Relations Bureau (CRB) will be to: 1. The CRB will help with the coordination of all Fire Prevention Week activities in October of every year. 2. The CRB will help with the coordination of the N.J. Division of Fire Safety, Fire Prevention Poster Contest to all Schools within the Region. 3. The CRB will help distribute smoke detectors to the needy of the Region with the help of block associations and other community groups. 4. The CRB will meet on a monthly basis or more often if needed to discuss the Regions Fire Safety needs. 5. All Information from the CRB will be reported to the Chief of Department. |
